University Assistant (prae doc) at the Department of Art History

The Department of Art History invites applications for a position as a maternity leave representative of a pre-doctoral university assistant (30 hours).

Extent of Employment: 30 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: §48 VwGr. B1 Grundstufe (praedoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

Job Description: 
The candidate will be expected to support the chairholder for Byzantine art history with her research and teaching duties, to teach independently at the BA Level (2 hours per week during the semester) and to participate actively in the further development of the Digital Research Archive for Byzantium (DiFaB). Adequate participation in the administration of the Department will also be expected. 

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in art history. High Level of written and oral Expression, extensive knowledge in the field of digital Image processing, experience in archive and exhibition management, competence in project coordination, didactic skills.
